On June 11 +12, from 11am – 7pm will be the 7th Annual Brooklyn Renegade Craft Fair. You can find me at booth 136 at the Bayard and Union entrance.I'll be in a mighty fine line up starting with - J. Davis Studio in spot 132 with sterling silver and gold jewelry - think house and key, Fisk & Fern and Knit Knit combine talents in booth 133 with housewares, textiles, cards and jewelry they have all the bases covered (my knit knit necklace!), next to them are the beautiful eco friendly bags of Sans Map in 134, Caja Jewelry in 135 (wanna see my Caja necklace?), and then on the other side Miniature Rhino and Virginia Kraljevic in 137 (wanna see what i have from Virginia? These great prints) . I wish i had a group shot of all those lovely ladies! You'll just have to come out and say hi for yourself!
Being next to such great artists really made me have to step up my display game! I've been collecting inspiration all summer in my pinterest pins as well as going to different stores etc to see what worked and what didn't work. I finally decided to make a statement in black and white that yes incorporated lots of silkscreening and ripping of bed sheets. You'll have to check it out for yourself!
