How-To Round Up: May

This month's how-to projects that i have bookmarked for later making:

Felt boxes - OMG Sister Diane makes the cutest felt boxes! The first thing i thought about was how great an idea these are for customizable sustainable packaging! She used her's here to create beautful and unique Easter Egg boxes. Also wondering if this would work with say, an old sweater reinforced with fusible web.

Upcycled cereal boxes into cool trivets! I'm a bit crazy when it comes to recycling, and i'm always on the hunt to extend somethings live before i recycle it - so this tutorial was right up my alley. I save cereal boxes already, to use as patterns for sewing, they are much sturdier and easier to follow than paper ones. Love these coasters out of cereal boxes! Check out her shop for some other great purchasable projects!

It looks like Scoutie Girl has jumped in with a How-To of her own! And why not! We all should look in to creating our own Laundry Detergent! Or at least know what's in yours.

Now get to work!
