Asian themed Fat quarters from Barcelona

Of course one of my google searches for any city is "Fabric Store" (this what i have to do while Etsy Europe completes their City Guides. They have great coverage of Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, but no Barcelona.... YET! I should have offered to hop on a bike with my trusty gps and map out the city!).

In any case, i wanted to find local designers and local supply stores with in the medieval winding streets and overwhelming tourist crap! It was a bit hard, but i did find that lots of the jewelry stores sold string of beads and supplies right there, and i miraculously stumbled upon an Asian themed fabric store, Nunoya! Yay! Above is the loot i got. I was very tame and only bought 4 asian themed fat quarters to take home and experiment with. Its such a contrast to the industry geared fabric stores in NY, this one was like a boutique (with boutique fabric prices to match!), but had some great fabric, indie handmade purses and such and a very helpful staff who helped bridge the language barrier.
