This month marks the 12 month mark for the first handmade boutique in Bushwick, The Better Than Jam Handmade Co-op. And congratulations are definitely in order! On top of gathering the best NYC designers - like hats from Rocks and Salt, decoupage coin jewelry from Wabisabi Brooklyn, clothing from ME :) and it's namesake Better Than Jam, this handmade storefront has breathed a fresh air into the community and mobilized people at Zombie Fashion Show's, Designer Brunches and first Friday parties all year long! It's become something of a hip hangout!I am happy and proud to be part of this group of designers and here's to year two!
