For the second year in a row, i am heading south for the Buyer's Market of American Craft Wholesale show - this year in Baltimore. From August 23-25 you can find me at The {NewNew} booth #1530. Joining me will be the finest we have to offer in terms of traditional craft made contemporary with style and and great design. All this week I hope to share with you a little bit about each artist.JTopolski uses organic forms like this elegant squid and this octopus sconce to create really outstanding jewelry and ceramics with a very organic color palette and inspiration. Her housewares line ranges from sconces, to plates to hive lamps, all in her unique artistic style. The bees that inspired the hive lamp also inspired her jewelry combining bees in resin that have since expanded to incorporate other inspirational animal elements, especially of the aquatic variety - possibly because of her summer project on Governors Island.
